Cultivate self-assured young speakers and avid readers with our interactive Public Speaking programme. This is a dynamic avenue for young learners to cultivate essential communication skills, including voice, speech, and language proficiency. We aim to empower children and enable them to develop self-confidence, imaginative thinking, empathy, and enhancing their interpersonal skills.

Each session is an exploration of imaginative themes and engaging activities that enhance children’s confidence and expressiveness. From vocal warm-ups and exercises to interactive storytelling, dramatic play, and creative prop work, our classes offer a holistic and enjoyable approach to public speaking.

Level 1: Age 1.5 - 3

Children embark on a voice and sound adventure, discovering the magic of their own voices. They then dive into interactive storytelling and dramatic play, enhancing their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. The programme wraps up with an engaging interaction with props, allowing young performers to showcase their expressive talents. This programme aims to nurtures confidence and self-expression in young speakers.

Level 2: Age 4 - 6

Level 2 builds on foundational speaking skills, helping young speakers express ideas with clarity, confidence and structure. Through activities like show-and-tell, guided storytelling, and simple improvisation, children develop clear speech, vocal expression, body language and audience awareness. Collaborative tasks also encourage turn-taking, active listening and respectful communication, fostering confidence in sharing thoughts and speaking with purpose.

Goal #1: Communication and Public Speaking Skills

Children will develop clear vocal expression, articulation, and confident communication through activities such as speech crafting, improvisation, interactive storytelling, show-and-tell, narrative retelling, and rhyming recitations. They will build public speaking skills and enhance critical thinking, gaining confidence performing in front of an audience.


Goal #2: Emergent Literacy and Speech Development

Through reading activities such as finger tracking and targeted phonemic awareness exercises, children will foster a foundational interest in literacy. Speech clarity and precise pronunciation will be strengthened with language games and expressive oral storytelling.

 

Goal #3: Social-Emotional Development and Collaboration

Children will learn to work confidently in groups, practising turn-taking and cooperative play. This supports emotional intelligence, self-awareness, self-regulation, and independence, equipping them with essential social and emotional skills.
